Alex Williams, Herbalist
My good friend Alex Williams of @firstcurveapothecary commissioned a painting to commemorate his herbal consultation practice and reflect themes of depth and holistic wellness, along with our mutual interest in Carl Jung :)
I really enjoyed this collaboration, especially in that it was a challenge as someone who thinks very “flat” visually to center something like depth + discover ways that it works with my approach. Just as gratifying was Alex’s genuine interest in visual art conveying his approach in herbal medicine, especially how it pertains to consciousness.
